We welcome curious researchers and students who want to grow through serious research, close mentorship, and long-term academic development.

Overview

A research environment built for growth, depth, and collaboration.

PI-Lab is interested in building a focused and supportive research environment where members can gradually develop strong technical judgment, research taste, and the ability to work on meaningful problems. We welcome people at different stages who are serious about learning, open to collaboration, and willing to invest in work that can mature into strong academic or professional outcomes.

Rather than treating recruitment as a single short-term opportunity, we hope to provide a setting in which members can grow through papers, projects, mentorship, internships, and future study or career paths. The goal is to help each person build a trajectory that fits both their stage and their long-term direction.

A clear path from research training to internships, further study, and career development.
A mentorship culture in which senior members guide junior members through different stages.
Opportunities for impactful projects, strong publications, and long-term academic growth.

Research

We support sustained research training, from foundational reading and implementation to ambitious problems with publication potential.

Mentorship

The group grows through close collaboration, with members learning from one another across different stages of experience.

Career Development

We value development beyond a single project and support members as they prepare for internships, jobs, and future academic steps.

Academic Pathways

The lab also supports applications for further study, exchange opportunities, and broader academic exploration when the timing is right.

Role-based support

What the lab can offer to different members.

Postdoctoral Researchers

Postdocs are expected to develop independent research while helping shape the broader training environment of the group.

Postdocs can mentor PhD students, master's students, and interns. The lab can also support future academic retention opportunities and provide recommendations for strong professional positions.

PhD Students

PhD students are encouraged to pursue ambitious research questions with strong publication goals and broad academic exposure.

The lab supports top-journal or top-conference publications, mentorship of master's students and interns, internship opportunities at major technology companies, recommendations for overseas exchange, and future job recommendations.

Master's Students

Master's students can build both research depth and practical experience through sustained project participation.

The lab supports top-journal or top-conference publications, mentoring interns, major project opportunities, internships at leading companies, and recommendations for further study or employment.

Interns

The lab welcomes both on-campus and off-campus interns who want early exposure to serious research.

Interns may participate in high-level research with publication potential, gain internship recommendations, join major projects, and receive guidance for recommended admission, PhD study, overseas study, or further study at other universities.
